Legacy Giving

Leave a Legacy with iDE Canada

Thank you for considering leaving a legacy gift to iDE Canada. By leaving a legacy gift to iDE Canada, you will generate new innovation and solutions that will have impact for generations to come.

Your Legacy Gift Impact

Loeurm, an inspirational entrepreneur and mother from Cambodia, has many reasons to be proud of her successful toilet business. With support from caring legacy donors like you, she gained the training and confidence to make the leap from sales to producer. Her business manufactures concrete rings, which are needed to build toilet facilities. Now she can pay for her children’s education and for her parents’ care. She’s also challenging gender norms by working in a field that few women do. And she’s part of a solution to help her community become healthier through access to toilet facilities.

Catherine, a loving mother of four and farmer from Zambia, wanted to protect her kids from illness and see them grow up healthy and strong. Because of the support of caring donors like you, she had the chance to attend a cooking demonstration. There she learned about nutrient-rich foods and good hand-hygiene. With this knowledge, she is helping her children thrive. She was also inspired to switch from growing corn to sunflowers, for the added nutrition and increased income selling the oil. Now her kids are eating more nutritious food and, with her extra income, Catherine is supporting other women in her community by providing loans they otherwise would not have access to.

Legacy Donor Voices

“Together with our children and grandchildren, we visited and spoke with farmers on an iDE trip to Zambia and Ethiopia in 2014. We saw firsthand the motivation to overcome barriers and leave poverty for good. Our legacy commitment to iDE is not a hand out. It’s an investment that will continue to have an impact on families and communities for generations to come.” – Bill & Margaret Fast
