David Froese, a legacy of making life better

David Froese, born in Winkler, Manitoba in 1926, lived a long and full life of 96 years. He was passionate about work, travel, family & friends — and committed to doing what he could to make life better. This included being a dedicated donor to iDE Canada.

As an entrepreneur himself, David was drawn to iDE’s approach of working alongside small business owners to make life better for individuals, families and communities. Over the years, he was an instrumental supporter of projects in Ethiopia, Ghana and Zambia.

And now, David’s dedication to making life better lives on through a generous gift in his Will, left to iDE Canada.

We remember David — who passed away in Abbotsford, BC in 2022 — and celebrate a life of kindness, generosity and care for people near and far. His legacy reminds us that one person’s commitment to positive change can have a lasting impact on countless lives around the world.

We are very grateful to David and his family for a life and legacy of generosity and impact.

Like David, your legacy gift can make life better for people around the world.

After taking care of your loved ones, a gift of any size in your Will to iDE Canada will be used to help individuals, families and communities around the world to experience prosperity that can last for generations.
